SIX Rooftop launches Seasonal Supper Club with a nostalgic twist

SIX Rooftop at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art is set to unveil a brand-new seasonal supper club this summer.

Known for its panoramic views and modern British cuisine, the two AA Rosette-awarded and Michelin Guide-listed riverside restaurant is inviting diners on a delicious journey through the decades with monthly, seasonally themed menus.

Each one-night-only event will feature a unique six-course menu curated by Chef Director Greg Lambert, drawing on childhood memories and classic summer experiences — all reimagined with SIX’s signature fine-dining flair.

A Trip to the Seaside – Friday, 20th June

A celebration of the Great British coastline, this launch menu features an elevated selection of fish and seafood favourites. Expect nostalgic seaside charm with an elegant twist.

Seaside Snacks - Crab Cornetto / Cheese & Pineapple / Scotch Egg

Seaweed - Kombu Broth, Soused Mackerel Roll-mop, Sea Vegetables

Lobster Roll - French Butter Brioche, Whitley Bay Lobster, Remoulade

Fish & Chips - Roast Halibut, Full Circle Pale Ale Battered Langoustine, Rosti Potato Chips, Smoked Mussel Mayo

Ice Cream Oyster Delight - Retro Oyster Wafer Shell, Earl Grey Ice Cream, Yuzu Jam

The Summer of ’69 – Friday, 25th July

An American backyard summer cookout meets fine-dining nostalgia. Think smoky BBQ flavours, Southern hospitality, and a soft rock soundtrack for a night of culinary Americana.

Holiday Camp – Friday, 29th August

Roll back the years to Britain’s golden age of holiday camps, infused with a touch of Riviera glamour. This retro-inspired menu offers playful sophistication with nods to classic favourites.

Back to School – Friday, 26th September

School dinners get the gourmet treatment. Look out for cheeky nods to caviar and crisps, smiley faces with beans, and a nostalgic dessert of old-school cake with pink custard - reinvented for grown-up palates.

Each six-course menu is priced at £60* per person, and an optional drinks pairing is available and is priced from £35 per person.

*Please note: These are set menus, and the chefs are unable to accommodate specific allergies or dietary requirements.

Chef Director Greg Lambert said: “SIX’s seasonal supper club menus are a nostalgic nod to memories of those fun trips out with the family from the summers of yesteryear. Each menu is designed to bring a little joy, surprise, and storytelling to the table.”
