The chattering was in full flow everyone appeared to be enjoying the sunshine
We continued along woodland paths on to mere lane and under West Moor Link and eventually came to Eden, well at least a budding estate.
Next stop kiddies play area with seats where well-deserved coffee was enjoyed.
We continued through woodlands to a pool were all the congregation were told this was the very pool where Excalibur of King Arthur fame was tossed.
The leader was most surprised when no one believed him.
We returned by bridle way back to cars so nice to have the sun on our backs.
P.O.I.
A solar equinox is a moment in time when the Sun appears directly above the equator, rather than to its north or south. On the day of the equinox, the Sun appears to rise directly east and set directly west. This occurs twice each year, around March 20 and September 23.
What is the difference between spring equinox and solstice?
Just remember that solstices are the longest and shortest days of the year, while equinoxes occur when the day and night are equally as long. Courtesy Wikipedia
