Group member Christine Wharton first put forward the idea, an application was made to Horbury and Ossett Phoenix Rotary who then sponsored the sign.
On Wednesday February 12 president of Horbury and Ossett Phoenix, John Faulkner and past president Mike Rogers came to officially unveil the board.
Christine Wharton reported that the information board has been very well received by visitors to the park and has generated a lot of interest. Joining John and Mike are group members Chairman Jeff Casey, Christine Wharton and Steve and Jane Holmes.
